In November of 2007 the AMP After School Program opened its doors to the Bradford County
community, with the purpose of helping Middle Schoolers "Achieve Maximum Potential".
Although the AMP Program is new to the community, its parent organization, Starke Church of
God by Faith has been a staple in the community for over 20 years, meeting the spiritual,
emotional and physical needs of the citizenry of Bradford County.
AMP will provide comprehensive academic, cultural and recreational services to students that will result in positive measurable outcomes such as performance, attendance and behavior, increased attachment to school and community, and a decrease of high risk behaviors. AMP will also provide family literacy and employabilty support to the families of participating students. AMP is funded by the Florida Department of Education and its partners and is managed by Starke Church of God by Faith.
